In June 2016 the newest addition to our board game fleet, ICECOOL, was given the Silver Award in the Game Expo Player category at the Imagination Gaming Family & Education Games Awards 2016. IG Game Awards was also a part of the UK Games Expo, the biggest hobby game convention in the UK, where ICECOOL was launched to the public for the first time. This was the second award for ICECOOL and we’re pleased to see the game receiving accolades so soon after its launch.
This was the 4th Imagination Gaming Family & Education Games Awards, an annual international board tabletop game competition organized by Imagination Gaming with the aim of finding games that engage children and families alike and help promote fundamental life skills by combining fun and education. The games are judged for their content, mechanics and design. Winners in the Game Expo Player category are determined by UK Games Expo convention visitors who play-test the games and vote.

Jūnijā mūsu jaunākā galda spēle “ICECOOL” saņēma sudraba godalgu izglītojošo un ģimenes spēļu konkursā “Imagination Gaming Family & Education Games Awards 2016”, kategorijā “Spēļu izstādes apmeklētāju balva”. Konkurss arī bija daļa no izstādes “UK Games Expo”, lielākās galda spēļu izstādes Lielbritānijā, kurā “ICECOOL” tika pirmo reizi prezentēts plašākai publikai. Šī jau ir otrā godalga, ko “ICECOOL” ir saņēmis, un mēs esam gandarīti, ka spēle jau tik drīz pēc prezentācijas saņem atzinību. Šī bija ceturtā reize, kad notiek konkurss “Imagination Gaming Family & Education Games Awards”. Konkurss ir starptautisks un to organizē Imagination Gaming ar mērķi atklāt spēles, kas iesaista kā bērnus, tā visu ģimeni un palīdz attīstīt dzīvē noderīgas prasmes, apvienojot izklaidi un izglītošanu. Spēles tiek vērtētas pēc to satura, tehnikas un dizaina. Uzvarētājus “Spēļu izstādes apmeklētāju balva” kategorijā noteica izstādes “UK Games Expo” apmeklētāji, kuriem bija iespējams nominētās spēles izmēģināt un par tām balsot.
