Trip to Riga and place at the World Championship

National Champion of each country will win a free trip to Riga, Latvia, in order to participate at the ICECOOL World Championship that will take place at BaltiCon on November 24th, 2018.

to “Snow Village” in Lapland, Finland 

The Trip to "Snow Village" Includes:

Lithuania


Tournaments organized by Brain Games Lithuania hosts one ICECOOL tournament this summer. The winner of this competition will become Lithuania’s National Champion and will compete in the ICECOOl World Championship in Riga. The exact time for the tournament will be announced soon. Poland


Tournaments organized by Rebel ICECOOL is very popular in Poland; this country has hosted a number of ICECOOL tournaments this year, and many more are yet to come. At least 20 more tournaments are scheduled for this year - you can see the complete list of events and venues here. Regional tournaments will be taking place all over Poland until the end of September. Winners of this stage are awarded their own copy of ICECOOL game and invited to the National Championship. The National Championship will take place in one of the biggest fantasy conventions in Poland. The main prize will be a trip to Riga and participation in the ICECOOL World Championship. Participants can sign up for tournaments on-site right before events. Additionally, shops, cafes, libraries and other institutions can apply to organize their own ICECOOL tournament here.




Romania


Tournaments organized by Ludicus Romania hosts 10 Regional Championships in May and June 2018. Four winners of each Regional Championship qualify to the National Championship which will take place in early fall. The prize and location of the championship will be decided after the last regional tournament. Events are promoted online via Facebook and Instagram and also in game shops, game clubs and schools. For most Regional Championships people can apply via Facebook, telephone or on the spot. Ali Farczádi is the main organizer of the Romanian championships. Tournaments organized by Asmodee UK In United Kingdom, ICECOOL tournaments take place at stores in May 2018. Regional tournaments are hosted by nine stores:

Winners of these competitions will participate in the National Championship and fight for the title of Latvia’s best ICECOOL player. Regional tournaments take place in several cities and towns across the country to invite more people to participate and have fun in the ICECOOL style. Prizes for the Regional tournament winners:

  • 1st place - participation in the second Latvian ICECOOL National Championship + Regional ICECOOL Tournament Cup + ICECOOL game
  • 2nd place - 20 € Brain Games gift card
  • 3rd place - 10 € Brain Games gift card

Tournaments organized by Luma In collaboration with Brain Games and several national partners, Luma is organising nation-wide ICECOOL tournaments for the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Québec! Do you think you have the flicking skills it takes to win the tournament and be crowned the winner in your province? All four provincial winners will be awarded a 2-day pass to and 2 nights accommodation to participate in the North American ICECOOL Championship at Gen Con. The champion will then have a chance to compete in the ICECOOL World Championship in Europe! These are Luma’s national partners:

Japan


Tournaments organized by Hobby Japan Hobby Japan will hold one ICECOOL tournament in Tokyo on June 24th, 2018. Several preliminary rounds will be organized depending on the number of participants. Winners of these rounds will participate in the final tournament that will take place in the SHIDAX Culture Hall. Participants can register as they arrive on site. Ukraine


Tournaments organized by iGames ICECOOL competitions in Ukraine are held from March to October. Qualifying tournaments take place in the coolest cities, in particular, Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odessa. Participants have a chance to show their flicking skills in the largest board games clubs as well as festivals and conventions like the «ГІКосфера». Winners of the qualifying tournaments will take part in the National Championship on October 13-14. Come to the qualifying tournament, get awesome prizes and prove that you are the coolest ICECOOL player in Ukraine! United States of America


Tournaments run by Brain Games and ENVOY The US Championship season started already in September 2017 and will continue till August 2018. In the United States there are 28 State Championships altogether, which are followed by 9 Regional Championships. Then, the Regional Champions from the US will join the Regional Champions from Canada to determine a North American Champion on August 4th, at this year’s Gen Con, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
