National Champion of each country will win a free trip to Riga, Latvia, in order to participate at the ICECOOL World Championship that will take place at BaltiCon on November 24th, 2018.

The Trip to "Snow Village" Includes:

Austria


Tournaments organized by Amigo

Austria holds several regional ICECOOL tournaments this year taking place in different game stores and clubs. Two winners of each regional competition are automatically registered for the Austrian National ICECOOL Championship in summer that will be announced on www.spielen.at and www.spielefreunde.at.
Each participant of the regional tournament gets a Fish Promotion card, and each finalist receives an exclusive Penguin Costume Promotion card. Prize for the National Champion is the Penguin Cup and participation in the ICECOOL World Championship in Riga, Latvia. All the Austrian and German tournaments are listed here - choose the date and venue that suits you best and contact the organizers. Estonia


Tournaments organized by Brain Games Estonia hosts one ICECOOL tournament at the end of September. The winner of this competition will become Estonia’s National Champion and will compete in the ICECOOL World Championship. The exact time for the tournament will be announced soon. France


Tournaments organized by Atalia This season, from June to December, France is hosting 25 to 30 tournaments. Every competition will be a separate event. However, if the organizers decide to host a National Championship, it will be a prestigious contest or a unique event at a major game festival. The winners from previous tournaments will be informed, but they will have to come to the event by their own means. Tournaments will be held in game festivals, special events in stores or gaming cafés and bars. Events will be promoted by each venue or festival as well as on Atalia’s website or Facebook page.




Germany


Tournaments organized by Amigo Germany has 32 scheduled regional ICECOOL tournaments this year from March to mid-August taking place in different game stores and clubs. Two winners of each regional competition are automatically registered for the National Championship that will take place on September 16 in Mannheim during AMIGO games event. An extra touch in Germany’s regional tournaments - each participant gets a Fish Promotion card, and each finalist receives an exclusive Penguin Costume Promotion card. Prize for the National Champion is a Penguin Cup and participation in the ICECOOL World Championship in Riga, Latvia. Lithuania


Tournaments organized by Brain Games Lithuania hosts one ICECOOL tournament this summer. The winner of this competition will become Lithuania’s National Champion and will compete in the ICECOOl World Championship in Riga. The exact time for the tournament will be announced soon. Poland


Tournaments organized by Rebel ICECOOL is very popular in Poland; this country has hosted a number of ICECOOL tournaments this year, and many more are yet to come. At least 20 more tournaments are scheduled for this year - you can see the complete list of events and venues here. Regional tournaments will be taking place all over Poland until the end of September. Winners of this stage are awarded their own copy of ICECOOL game and invited to the National Championship. The National Championship will take place in one of the biggest fantasy conventions in Poland. The main prize will be a trip to Riga and participation in the ICECOOL World Championship. Participants can sign up for tournaments on-site right before events. Additionally, shops, cafes, libraries and other institutions can apply to organize their own ICECOOL tournament here.




Romania


Tournaments organized by Ludicus Romania hosts 10 Regional Championships in May and June 2018. Four winners of each Regional Championship qualify to the National Championship which will take place in early fall. The prize and location of the championship will be decided after the last regional tournament. Events are promoted online via Facebook and Instagram and also in game shops, game clubs and schools. For most Regional Championships people can apply via Facebook, telephone or on the spot. Ali Farczádi is the main organizer of the Romanian championships. United Kingdom


Tournaments organized by Asmodee UK In United Kingdom, ICECOOL tournaments take place at stores in May 2018. Regional tournaments are hosted by nine stores:

Winner of each Regional tournament is granted a first-round bye at a National Championship. Others who want to participate at the National Championship first have to go through preliminary rounds.
ICECOOL UK National Championship takes place at UK Games Expo on June 2nd. If you want to participate at the Championship, please buy your entrance ticket here. The winner will receive a trip to Riga and place at ICECOOL World Championship.




Latvia


Tournaments organized by Brain Games Latvia - the motherland of the ICECOOL game - hosts 8 selection tournaments from April to August. Winners of these competitions will participate in the National Championship and fight for the title of Latvia’s best ICECOOL player. Regional tournaments take place in several cities and towns across the country to invite more people to participate and have fun in the ICECOOL style. Prizes for the Regional tournament winners:

  • 1st place - participation in the second Latvian ICECOOL National Championship + Regional ICECOOL Tournament Cup + ICECOOL game
  • 2nd place - 20 € Brain Games gift card
  • 3rd place - 10 € Brain Games gift card
